Is anyone else a little bit bored with American Vogue? They've filled too many pages with advertisements, hire the same models each issue, rarely ever do model covers anymore, and fill the front cover with too many blurbs on politic issues and sometimes even sleezy ones that you'd find on the cover of the Cosmopolitan! I do realize that Gisele was on the cover last month, but did you realize that they used her in a kind of celebrity way? Giving her a spread, interview and then summarization on this and that about Gisele and her new life with 'baby'.
I miss the fashion magazines with styling that actually inspired people to wear something similar, a cover with a model with no wording except the title of the magazine and the date of publication, do you miss these things too?
I've really given up on American Vogue, my favorite magazines now are Glamour & Elle. Glamour is really a good magazine, it's funny, adorable, and fun. Glamour is a subtle fashion magazine it's not meant to be a high fashion mag but instead something that every woman can read but still be inspird, Elle has good styling compared to Vogue, though Elle rarely has model covers, they're photographed well not that high school yearbook picture with a nature backdrop that Vogue always uses.
Anyone else agree with the points I made? I just think that they need to get back to fashion, and realize that's what Vogue stands for not news on politics and sex tips.

That sucks.. it's still going ok in Aus, hope it doesn't go down the same path!
In terms of magazines like you described, try RUSSH. It's an Australian mag though so not sure where/how much it would be in America, but it's the best one around I think!
