Once upon a time in a faraway land there was a tiny kingdom, peaceful, prosperous, and rich in romance and tradition.

The first few pieces from the collection reminded me of early 1900's, the wealthy girl in town that everyone hates, ex. Cruella De Ville, the impression was only half of the clothes the other half was the expression on the model's face, the whip, hair and makeup. But as the show went along you see more of the sweet, princess-type dresses come out and I loved every piece. I have always adored Christian Dior Couture because you can tell how much work went into each piece, it's not like the others where there's the pieces that you can tell were worked hard on and the others were just added onto the collection quickly without really any thought or time added into it.

The dresses reminded me of Grace Kelly, the tight bodice and flowy bottom. I absolutely adored it! So good job to John Galliano and his lovely take on couture for Dior!

I love the collection's vibe and your thoughts on it. To me it was like horserider-girl gone bad with the striking makeup and as you said cruella de vil like creepy look.
