I remember when everyone was shitting their pants over how sexy and flawless Blake Lively's hair was and still is (doesn't that just piss you off?). Even I was on the band wagon, I was incredibly envious of a look that looked like even she didn't give a fuck and years later I still am obsessed. I bought Bumble and Bumble surf spray, a product everyone was buzzing about, magazines wouldn't shut up about it and I got the point where I decided 'Hey, fuck it' and spent a ridiculous amount of money for a teenage girl to spend of a four once bottle of hair product.

Now it's 2013 and I've come to realize that all you need is salt, water and a spray bottle to get the look. You don't need to do curl your hair and brush it out or do that weird sock braids everyone was doing for a while. Certainly, you don't need to spend a lot of money either. After using all of my surf spray, I filled it up with warm water, poured in every kind of salt I could find in my kitchen (you'd be surprised there's a lot of variety with salt). Then I sprayed it all over my wet, just got towel-dried and brushed my hair 'hair'.

Hours later my hair dried and I looked like I'd just spent the day at the beach chatting up hot babes. Hope this works for you guys too!
